Xiaxue resembles Sun Ho?

I always think Xiaxue has some resemblances to Sun Ho, but James always disagrees with me.

They have the same blond hair, freckles, smile, face shape, etc. Sun Ho is all-time natural beauty while Xiaxue (when she's in her makeover looks with extremely thick makeup) is like a younger version of Sun. What do you think?

The Infamous RIS LOW

Another new entertainment of the infamous Ris Low - Video of Safe Sex with Ris Low! She's trying very hard to stay in the limelight, so here I am doing her a great favor ;) Anyway, she's now the spokeperson for Espire condoms, so that probably explains the video.

Frankly I don't really like her even though I don't know her personally, haha! But I'm pretty impressed by how she turned things around. From a mountain of rotten news to earning advertisment endorsement fees, she just somehow turned things to her side. At least she's doing some good deed by advertising about safe sex.

PCK also pulled a great one on her! Hilarious! Gotta watch him imitate her!

Singapore is New Genting

I was at Vivocity yesterday & I almost thought I was in Genting! Except for the climate of course...

There was so many tourists carrying day luggage and heading towards the monorail station at level 3! Although I saw those reports on the news of the huge crowd for the RWS, watching the action in live was different. Witnessing actually more tourists than the locals (yes, I meant it!) inside a local shopping centre, I felt a strong atmosphere of holiday mood.

I was surprised at the vast range of nationalities though. Honestly, I only expected to see Malaysians since they are just our neighbours. Hence, I was surprised to see Indonesians (many of them), Indians, Caucasians (I really can't understand why they would travel so far just to see a casino?), Chinese, etc.

When I took the train at Harborfront, I was the minority Singaporean in my cabin. Will there be any place for us in future?

The most surprising thing is the stores inside Vivocity has banners placed in front of their shop entrance that screamed "15% off for WorldCard members"! Familiar scene in Genting right? Although the government has been repeating that RWS is not just all about the casino, but about the theme parks, hotels, etc., I felt the island is just revolving into another casino resort. Will we become the next Genting, Macau, Las Vegas (although that will take a long time)?

Btw, I'm impressed that RWS has a blog! Looks like RWS are trying to stay relevant because nowadays, its not just the aunties & uncles patronizing the casinos. mypaper this week reported a lot of young people in their 20-30s are patronizing illegal gambling dens in private houses. Some people just have to flow with the new Singapore culture right?
Btw, the RWS webpage don't use the word "gambling" on their main page, they used the word "gaming" instead. Sounds real relevant huh?

Casino = Higher crime rate? Definitely YES!

Is this news? Hmm... expected right...

Indonesian who lost all in casino at Resorts World Sentosa, stole at airport
Channel NewsAsia - Thursday, February 18

An Indonesian man who lost all the S$1,000 he had with him at the Resorts World Sentosa casino was jailed for four weeks after pleading guilty to stealing a handphone from an undergraduate at Changi Airport.

The unemployed Indonesian, Paulus Djohar, stole the S$500 handphone from Ms Lim Tse Min at Terminal 1 on Tuesday.

He had intended to get some cash from the sale of the handphone.

The court heard Djohar came to Singapore from Malaysia last Tuesday with the intention of patronising the newly—opened casino at Sentosa.

As he lost all his money gambling at the casino on Monday, the second day of its opening, he decided to steal from passengers at Changi Airport.

Djohar went to the airport early Tuesday morning.

He then approached Ms Lim, who was with a group sending off a friend going to Australia to study.

One of them saw Djohar brushed his hands across Ms Lim’s backpack and walked away quickly.

The witness alerted Ms Lim who discovered her handphone missing from the side pocket of her backpack.

Ms Lim and the witness confronted Djohar and filed a police report. — 938LIVE/vm
